Four Seasons
The combination of Chinese ink with American color language over 15 years ago. At that time, the Taiwanese-Chinese calligrapher Hsing-Cheun Schmuziger-Chen and the American-Swiss artist Roy Freeman came together to combine their work in joint creations.
Roy's alchemical colorfulness and Hsing-Chuen's dancing-structuring brushwork is unique. Not only because of the fascinating compositions that evoke palpable states such as calm, stillness, or floating, but also because of the Far Eastern wisdom quoted and interpreted in the calligraphy.
